Well over all species count was
5 :d so not a bad day me thinks
it was close on the biggest
doggie it was between mine and
Sheryl, guess who had too catch

Tackle shop in Mev had no worms so that put pay to the wrasse fishing, discovered they don't like jelly worms. A few small pollock being caught on float, one of which infact was mine because Callum was not paying any attention to his rod/float. Three pollock caught on a jelly sandeel spun on a 3ft trace. I almost caught a big wrasse but got it snagged in a kelp forest and ended up landing the biggest weed fish of the day.
Later
on
the
hand
line
boats
went
out
and
started
catching
Makerel
so
we
all
started
feathering
and
caught
quite
a
few
between
us.
Something
large
took
a
ledgered
bait
in
the
harbour
but
got
off.
We
left
before
dark
and
the
dogs
came
out
to
play.
