My real name is Tabatha but because of my antic when I was a Puppy mum and dad nicknamed me ThuggyDog and it appears to have stuck! .

In May 2011 The Great British Public voted for me to appear live on ITV's Flagship Program (This Morning Show) as their Hub Hound! You can see my Live appearance HERE.

Mum got me as a puppy 4 years ago after she had a nasty accident which left her in a wheelchair! Mum had recently lost her dear friend Tess and mum wanted a new companion. When mum picked me up I was only 9 weeks old and the people who had me said I was too much work and they couldn't cope! So mum took me home and I have never left her side since. I was "Christened JAZZ" but my new mum didn't like that name so her and her friend Caroline decided that I looked more like a Tabatha! So I was renamed. After about 12 weeks with my new mum, I was wanting to go on longer walks, so mum tried to walk with the aid of crutches, and now she is able to walk me properly using those crutches. She said "I am a miracle, hero dog who has given her her life back!"

At the age of 3 I became the 'Nation's favourite' pooch and on May 20th 2011 I enjoyed a day out in This Morning's studio in their Hub Hound segment.

It was like being famous for the day with everybody wanting to take photos of us.

We travelled from our 4 * hotel in a nice silver Mercedes with a chauffeur, and when we got to the studios I just stole the show. It was wonderful.
